Our Mission

The mission of the Diablo Scorpion Lacrosse Club is to instill positive life lessons for all participants through teamwork, working towards common goals, personal development, competition and most of all having fun at various skill levels and age. 

We strive to provide the highest level of coaching instruction at each age level to ensure individual growth within the sport.  Respect for the game of lacrosse, teammates, opponents, officials, and coaches is the cornerstone of our teaching philosophy.

Scorpion Lacrosse assumes a leadership role within the Northern California lacrosse community to promote the reasonable, ethical, and sustainable growth of the sport.


FIL Men's Lacrosse World Cup 2018

The 2018 FIL Men’s Lacrosse World Championship will be the most widely viewable Lacrosse event ever, as at least 160 games will be produced for the tournament, July 11-21, in Netanya, Israel. More than 300 hours of lacrosse will be broadcast to more than 46 nations.

Former Scorpion/SRVHS player, Vaclav (Vasek) Harvey, is a goalie on the Czech Republic National Team!  They won their first game against Belgium today, 15-8.

We completed our 2018 Spring season by winning two league championships at Boys 14A and Girls 12A.  Other teams won their flight tournaments.  Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and parents on this amazing season!  Read about each squad and their season below:

2018 NCJLA Champion Boys 14A Kings

The Boys 14A Scorpion Kings finish the season at 16-1.  The team took home the 2018 NorCal 14U championship after an impressive 15-7 win over the West Valley Red Hawks.   The team had the best offense (242  goals; 14.24 GF/G) and best defense (3.82 GA/G) in the league!  Congratulations to Coach Flanagan, Coach Kangas, Coach Watson and the players of the 14A Kings on a dominating season!

2018 NCJLA Champion Girls 12A Sting

The Girls 12A Scorpion Sting completed a perfect regular season record (17-0) and gave up only 19 goals (1.11 GA/G)! The team captured the championship with a win over El Dorado Hills Blue. Congratulations to Coach Iorio, Coach Applegate, Coach Mitchel and all the girls on the tremendous undefeated season!

2018 NCJLA Flight 1 Champion Girls 12B Venom

The Girls 12B Scorpion Venom captured Flight 1 championship at Treasure Island. The team came together posting a 13-2-1 regular season record.  Congratulations to Coach Hale, Coach Logan, Coach Petroski and all the girls on a successful season!

2018 NCJLA Runner-up Girls 14A Attack

The Girls 14A Scorpion Attack lost the championship game by one goal (7-6) against San Francisco Riptide.  The team completed the season with 13-2-1 regular season record.  Congratulations to Coach Doering, Coach Brower, Coach Wong and all the girls on a wonderful season!

2018 NCJLA Consolation Champion Boys 10A Kings

The Boys 10A Scorpion Kings won the consolation championship game at Petalco Sports Complex.  Congratulations to Coach Roehm, Coach Emerson, Coach Hamre and all the boys on a successful tournament!
